Resumen Curricular

Winston Garcia-Gabin received the Electrical Engineering, and M.S. in Automation and Instrumentation degrees from Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela, in 1994 and 1998, respectively, and the and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at University of Seville, Spain in 2002.
He has held teaching and research positions of the Electrical Engineering School at Universidad de Los Andes. His current research interests includes sliding mode control, model predictive control, and time delay systems. He is the author of more than 50 publications in journals and conference proceedings. He has been in consultancy work, as well as lecturing on short courses for companies.
