| dc.description.abstract | El presente documento resume parte de los resultados de una investigación
solicitada por el MEN como una consultoría a la Universidad Nacional de
Colombia, Sede Bogotá, cuyos objetivos fueron evaluar el impacto, o por lo
menos el logro, de resultados de tres proyectos para mejorar la calidad de la
educación, uno de los cuales estaba orientado a mejorar y motivar el uso de las
bibliotecas públicas y sus colecciones, llamado Mil Maneras de Leer (MML). Se
presentan los resultados obtenidos del análisis de unas encuestas realizadas a
docentes de las instituciones educativas de cuatro departamentos colombianos.
Se construyen dos indicadores de resultados (antes-después) con los cuales se
identifica si hubo incremento o no en el número de docentes (o directivos) que
consideran que la llegada de MML logró incrementar la proporción de docentes
que realizan actividades orientadas a mejorar la lectura o si trajo nuevas
actividades que tuvieran el mismo objetivo. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | The present work reviews some of the results of a research requested for the
MNE (Ministry of National Education), as a consultancy to the University National
of Colombia, at Bogotá, whose objectives were to assess the impact, or at least,
the achievement of results belonging to three projects in the search of improving
the quality of the education. One of these was focused on improving or
motivating the use of public libraries, and their collections called “One Thousand
Ways to Read (OTWR).” The obtained results from the analysis of some inquiries
applied to teachers of educational institutions of four Colombian Departments
are presented. Two result indicators (before – after) are built by which are
identified if there was or no an increasing in the number of teachers (or
principals), who consider that the arrival of OTWR could increase the proportion
of teachers that perform activities guided to improve the reading, or if it brought
