| dc.description.abstract | El mito de El dorado ha sido desde el siglo XV
una recreación del Nuevo Mundo para quiénes
protagonizaron el proceso de conquista, para los
historiadores y también para los novelistas. En
las novelas seleccionadas para el presente estudio
la fundamental formulación del mito nace de los
propios protagonistas históricos recreados en
dimensiones diferentes, aunque todos apuntan a
la concepción primigenia del mito.

| dc.description.abstract1 | The myth of El dorado has been since the 15th
century a recreation of the new world to who
starred in the process of conquest, for historians,
and also to the novelists. In the novels selected for
this study the essential formulation of the myth
comes from the historical protagonists recreated
in different dimensions, although all point to the
original conception of the myth.
