dc.description.abstractMediante un método comparatístico, en el presente trabajo se examina el modo en que dialogan y aparecen representados algunos aspectos del concepto de “otredad”, en los cuentos Regreso del paraguayo Augusto Roa Bastos y en El vaso de leche del chileno Manuel Rojas. El primero pertenece al libro de cuentos publicado en 1953 titulado El trueno entre las hojas; el segundo aparece en el libro Travesía (1934). Para tal fin, fue necesario recurrir a algunas implicaciones de la alteridad expuestas por J. P. Sartre.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This article intends to examine, through a comparative methodology, the way in which some features characterizing the concept of otherness are represented and related to each other. In doing so, the stories Regreso, by the Paraguayan writer Augusto Roa Bastos, and El vaso de leche, by the Chilean writer Manuel Rojas were considered. The first story was published in 1953 under the title El trueno entre las hojas, while the second story was published in the book called Travesía (1934). Some elements of the concept of otherness as proposed by J.P. Sartre were used in the study.es_VE
