| dc.description.abstract | En México hay negros, pero no se ven; existen, pero son invisibles. Llegaron durante
la colonización desempeñando papeles fundamentales en la construcción del país.
Participaron en la conquista, el desarrollo económico y las luchas libertadoras. Juan
Garrido introdujo el trigo en México y fue el primero en cultivarlo; Gaspar Yanga
echó el grito de libertad americana. Uno llegó a ocupar el Palacio de México como
presidente. El presente estudio pone de relieve las razones de la presencia ausente de
los negros en México, sus manifestaciones en la actualidad y analiza cómo pueden
salir del atolladero en que los han encerrado. | es_VE |

Th ey arrived during the colonization playing fundamental roles in the construction
of the country. Th ey participated in the conquest, the economic development and
the liberating struggles. Juan Garrido introduced wheat in Mexico and was the
fi rst to grow it; Gaspar Yanga shouted the cry of American freedom. One came to
occupy the Palace of Mexico as president. Th e present study highlights the reasons
for the absent presence of blacks in Mexico, their manifestations today and it
