dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del artículo es realizar una actualización sobre formación de profesores universitarios, basada en textos iberoamericanos en castellano de la última década (desde 2008) aunque también se incluyen referentes anteriores citados con mayor frecuencia. Se seleccionaron artículos de revistas arbitradas e indizadas, así como algunas ponencias de congresos y tesis doctorales. El análisis procuró identificar elementos esenciales y reiterativos, mostrando como resultado de un campo en crecimiento y con diversidad de concepciones. También es posible apreciar preocupaciones que se repiten, tanto como el reconocimiento de elementos útiles y retos pendientes para continuar con el trabajo sobre este tema. Se concluye con una síntesis de estos hallazgos destacando la gran importancia del tema para la construcción de un mejor futuro.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1The purpose of this article is to present an update since 2008 based on Ibero-American texts in Spanish about university faculty training. Previous referents, most frequently quoted, were also included. Selected texts consisted of peer-reviewed and indexed journal articles as well as conference papers and doctoral theses. This analysis identified essential and iterative elements resulting in the identification of a growing field with diversity in concepts. It is also possible to identify recurrent concerns as well as useful elements and challenges to continue work on this field. It concludes with a summary of the findings which highlight the importance of this field in the construction of a better future.es_VE
