dc.description.abstractEn el presente estudio se analiza el proceso de apropiación del suelo en la jurisdicción de la Nueva Zamora de La Laguna de Maracaibo, entre 1574-1720, en particular sobre las formas de asignación, comprensivas de los instrumentos jurídicos y las autoridades que concedieron la propiedad del suelo, asimismo la relación entre el número de propiedades, propietario y su ubicación, el valor con que se tasaron las posesiones para cancelar los impuestos reales y mensura de los predios. La investigación se asienta en la revisión documental realizada sobre la visita efectuada por el juez compositor de las tierras don Diego Manuel de Eguizábal y Samaniego, realizada entre 1716 y 1718. El análisis aplicado es de tipo cuantitativo y se dirige a determinar, las autoridades que concedieron la propiedad, número de predios, propietarios y las tasas impositivas recaudadas que se expresaron en concordancia con el valor estimado de las posesiones, cuyos indicadores fueron tabulados y se muestran los resultados.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1In the present study the land appropriation process is analyzed in the jurisdiction of the Nueva Zamora of La Laguna de Maracaibo, between 1574-1720, in particular on the forms of allocation, comprehensive of the legal instruments and the authorities that they granted the property of the land, also the relation between the number of properties, owner and their location, the value with which the possessions were valued to cancel the real taxes and measure the properties. The investigation is based on the documentary review carried out on the visit made by the judge composer of the lands don Diego Manuel de Eguiázabal y Samaniego, carried out between 1716 and 1718. The applied analysis is of quantitative type and is aimed at determining, the authorities that they granted the property, number of properties, owners and the tax rates collected that were expressed in accordance with the estimated value of the possessions, whose indicators were tabulated and the results are shown.es_VE
