dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se pretenden recoger, en apretada síntesis, los principales hitos, rasgos, tendencias, temas, orientaciones y fines que, de acuerdo con las investigaciones desarrolladas al respecto, han marcado a la historiografía dedicada a los temas americanos en España. Los apuntes aquí contenidos acerca de la historiografía americanista, como parte activa de la española, están referidos a tres momentos concretos: el siglo xix cuando se constituye como especialidad historiográfica, el siglo xx cuando contribuye a la consolidación institucional y profesional de las actividades socioprofesionales de los historiadores en España y la transición al siglo xxi, en la cual se procura establecer el rumbo que pareciera seguir la historia de la historiografía sobre el americanismo.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This article intends to collect, in a tight synthesis, the main milestones, features, trends, themes, orientations and purposes that, according to the investigations carried out in this regard, have marked the historiography dedicated to American themes in Spain. The notes contained here about americanist historiography, as an active part of spanish historiography, refer to three specific moments: the nineteenth century when it was established as a historiographical specialty, the twentieth century when it contributes to the institutional and professional consolidation of socio-professional activities of historians in Spain and the transition to the 21st century, which seeks to set the course that seems to follow the history of historiography on americanism.es_VE
