dc.description.abstractEn el presente artículo se analizará la adaptación para cine de la novela El coronel no tiene quien le escriba, escrita por el eminente autor colombiano, Gabriel García Márquez y llevada a la pantalla por el cineasta mexicano Arturo Ripstein. Indagando en las diferencias y semejanzas entre ambos textos, literario y fílmico, se establecerá cómo funciona la transformación de una novela a una película, cómo un texto que utiliza el lenguaje escrito puede ser presentado en otro que utiliza el lenguaje audiovisual.es_VE
