| dc.description.abstract | A través de esta investigación podrá evidenciarse la efectividad de las estrategias
basadas en
los campos semánticos para la adquisición de competencias lingüísticas,
específicamente a
nivel de la conciencia semántica. El diagnóstico del problema, así como el diseño y
aplicación
de estrategias se hizo junto a los 36 estudiantes
del 2° Grado Paralelo “B” de Educación Básica General de la Unidad Educativa 19 de
Septiembre
del Cantón Salcedo. La metodología utilizada es cuantitativa propia del paradigma
positivista,
su diseño fue de tipo pre experimental ya que
se aplicó un pre test y un post test, ambos instrumentos contemplaron cinco
actividades en
la que se le mostraron a los niños secuencias de imágenes con el propósito de obtener
información
acerca de sus habilidades lingüísticas y semánticas. Los resultados arrojaron grandes
hallazgos en
tanto se evidenció un progreso rápido en el logro de destrezas semánticas por parte de

| dc.description.abstract1 | Through this research it will be possible to demonstrate the eff ectiveness of
strategies based
on semantic fi elds for the acquisition of linguistic competences, specifi cally at
the level of semantic
awareness. The diagnosis of the problem, as well as the design and application of
strategies, was made
together with the 36 students of the 2nd Grade Section “B” of General Basic Education
of the
“Unidad Educativa 19 de Septiembre of Salcedo Canton. The methodology used was
quantitative,
typical of the positivist paradigm, its design was pre-experimental since a pre-test
and a post-test
were applied, both instruments contemplated five activities in which the children were
shown
sequences of images with the purpose of obtain information about their linguistic and
semantic abilities. The results yielded great fi ndings, while rapid progress was
