| dc.description.abstract | Los imaginarios iconográficos sobre la Independencia, ubicada en el lapso histórico de los Bicentenarios (1810 – 2019), y las reflexiones sobre ellos, son el tema central de este ensayo; y que son esenciales para entender la formación de la nación, que toma forma de Estado en lo que se llamó: la Confederación de las Provincias Unidas de la Nueva Granada (1811 – 1819). De manera general, se tendrán en cuenta los símbolos, las mentalidades colectivas, y las representaciones; que iconográficamente se observaron en la conmemoración de los Bicentenarios.
