| dc.description.abstract | El presente ensayo tiene como propósito analizar la importancia de la conflictología,
como una alternativa para la regulación positiva del conflicto en el contexto
educativo universitario; considerando que uno de los problemas que se presentan en la
actualidad en este tipo de organizaciones tienen relación con la situación de
violencia, situación que afecta la paz entre las personas que convergen en estos
recintos educativos, donde por diversas razones los conflictos que se generan pueden
ser a nivel laboral, personal, social, económico o político. En este contexto, la
organización amenazada por estos conflictos, requieren de la atención y prontitud
adecuada para evitar que se conviertan en un problema mayor que no tenga solución
inmediata; de allí que, la importancia de afrontarlos a través de medios alternativos
que conlleven hacia el desarrollo de acuerdos positivos, para evitar daños mayores. En
este sentido, la conflictología como ciencia es aplicable en situaciones conflictivas
porque guía a las partes hacia la búsqueda de alternativas positivas para resolver sus
problemas sin que las diferencias produzcan situaciones violentas que puedan afectar
el ambiente laboral, considerándose como una alternativa para la búsqueda de la paz
organizacional.

importance of confl ictology, as an alternative for
the positive regulation of confl ict in the university
educational context; considering that one of
the problems that currently arise in this type of
organizations is related to the situation of violence, a
situation that aff ects peace between the people who
converge in these educational facilities, where for
various reasons the confl icts that arise can be at a
work, personal, social, economic or political level.
In this context, the organization threatened by these
confl icts requires adequate attention and promptness
to prevent them from becoming a major problem
that does not have an immediate solution; Hence,
the importance of facing them through alternative
means that lead to the development of positive
agreements, to avoid further damage. In this sense,
confl ictology as a science is applicable in confl ictive
situations because it guides the parties towards
the search for positive alternatives to resolve their
problems without the diff erences producing violent
situations that could aff ect the work environment,
being considered as an alternative for the search for
