Abstract
Este artículo contiene los siguientes apartados. Comienza con un breve recuento histórico de la Mayordomía y Priostería de Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
Seguidamente se expone el origen del culto a San Pascualito hasta nuestros días. Posteriormente versa sobre el conflicto entre las instituciones
religiosas que veneran al santo esqueleto en la capital del estado de Chiapas. Después se comparte la etnografía, donde se describen los rituales de
la fiesta patronal. Se concluye dando unas reflexiones.
