Abstract
En el presente ensayo se estudió el efecto de la sustitución en dietas para codornices por harina de lombriz (HL) sobre el comportamiento productivo durante, 6 semanas de engorde. En total 75 codornices fueron alojados en 3 grupos: Control S/HL, 12% HL y 24% HL sólo en la 1era semana de vida, las cuales recibieron unas dietas con 19, 23 y 25 % de proteína respectivamente. La sustitución del 12% generó resultados satisfactorios sin diferencias significativas en lo que respecta a pesos y ganancia de pesos (P > 0.05); no ocasionó efectos detrimentales en el índice de conversión (P > 0.05) y el consumo fue ligeramente superior aunque no hubo diferencias significativas(P>0.05). La incorporación de 24 % de HL en la 1era semana
de vida no refleja efectos significativamente mejores en las semanas subsiguientes por lo que no se justifica su utilización. Los resultados indican que puede ser utilizado hasta un 12% de HL en codornices de engorde hasta la 6ta semana de edad sin efectos adversos que deterioren el comportamiento productivo.

The incorporaction of 24 % of HL in the first week of life doesn´t reflect significatively better effects in the following weeks which doesn´t justify its use. The results indicate that it can be used up to 12 % of HL in fattening quails until the 6th week of age without adverse effects which deteriorate the productive behavior. |
