Abstract
La sociología de Pierre Bordieau recurre a términos psicoanalíticos en el desarrollo de una teoría sobre los procesos ocultos del
poder en las relaciones cotidianas. Recurriendo al mito griego de Perseo y su encuentro con la Gorgona Medusa, se propone una
revisión del abordaje de este autor, que llamaremos frontal y heroico, en contraste con una categoría psicoanalítica más reciente, la indirección.
