Abstract
La poesía de Rafael Cadenas (Venezuela) presenta a lo largo de su evolución una creciente predilección por la brevedad y lo fragmentario, rasgos visibles
en la consolidación de una escritura aforística de índole reflexiva cuyos inicios se remontan, según el poeta, a los años setenta, pero cuya colección
más ilustrativa es el libro titulado Dichos publicado en 2010. Tras una tentativa descriptiva de las características temáticas y discursivas de estos
“dichos”, subrayo sus implicaciones filosófico-estéticas, destacando entre otras ideas la poética fragmentaria como escritura alternativa frente a
discursos más extensos, la revalorización de la visión eufórica del instante frente a lo efímero, la concepción del misterio como elemento
constitutivo de la realidad o la fenomenología sensualista como baluarte contra el lado pernicioso de la civilización moderna.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | The poetry of Rafael Cadenas (Venezuela) shows a growing predilection for brevity and fragmentary, features observable in the consolidation of a meditative aphoristic writing along his literary maturation. Even though the poet has indicated that he started exploring these concise writings as from the seventies, its most visible literary expression is the collection untitled Dichos, published in 2010. After an attempt to describe the thematic and discursive characteristics of these “dichos” –or sayings– this essay underlines the philosophical and aesthetic implications of these sayings, with a particular emphasis on the fragmentary seen as a writing alternative to more extensive discourses, the revaluation of the euphoric conception of the instant in front of the fugacity, the vision of mystery as a constitutive element of reality, or a certain sensualistic phenomenology, considered like a stronghold against the negative side of the modern civilisation. |
