Abstract
El reestudio realizado de la distribución estratigráfica y la producción cerámica del sitio prehispánico La Mata identificó un componente atípico como distintivo de la ocupación humana Pre-Valencioide. Con un estudio sistemático y reconstructivo se organizó la información de las colecciones e investigaciones previas, reconstruyendo el contexto arqueológico y estratigráfico. Los resultados obtenidos evidenciaron la existencia de un componente atípico asociado al contexto más antiguo del sitio, demostrando su vinculación Pre-Valencioide.

Resumen en otro IdiomaThe resurvey of the stratigraphic distribution and pottery production at the La Mata prehispanic site identified an atypical component as distinctive of the Pre-Valencioid human occupation. With a systematic and reconstructive study, the information from previous collections and research was organized and the archaeological and stratigraphic context was reconstructed. The results obtained showed the existence of an atypical component associated with the oldest context of the site, demonstrating its Pre-Valencioid linkage.
