Résumé
Las relaciones entre Japón y la República Popular de China han influido en la política
de Asia del este más que cualquier otro factor, y actualmente gana mayor influencia,
en un escenario marcado por el desplazamiento de poder desde Occidente
hacia el continente asiático. En el presente trabajo se analizará el comportamiento
actual y las perspectivas de las relaciones bilaterales de estas dos naciones dada la
notable importancia que asumen como actores internacionales en la geopolítica mundial.
En este sentido, se realizan valoraciones en torno a sus gastos en defensa y
relacionamiento con organizaciones regionales, así como con Estados Unidos.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | Relations between Japan and the People’s Republic of China have influenced East Asian politics more than any other factor, and are currently gaining greater influence in a scenario marked by the shift of power from the West to the Asian continent. This paper will analyze the current behavior and prospects of the bilateral relations between the two Asian nations, given the notable importance they assume as international actors in global geopolitics. In this sense, their defense spending and their relations with regional organizations as well as with the United States will be assessed. |
